Love at First Sight
Love at first sight? I think not. I don't know why people believe in love at first sight. How can you fall in love with someone you just seen not met? You don't know anything about them and they can be a serial killer* or a rapist* for all you know. How about the worst... they're not even looking at you when you're in "lovey dovey" mode.Maybe, you can write a song about how in love you are with someone you just rested your eyes on, "I fell in love with a stranger/It's okay if I don't know anythin'/It doesn't matter if I'm really in danger/I'm in love with him..." Yes, that was a terrible start of a song, but "love at first sight" isn't so nice either.
I find falling in love at first sight shallow because you're saying you love someone for their looks. I guess nothing else captures some attention better than looks. Well, it really does annoy me when people say they "fell in love at first sight" because they know their love came later after they got to know each other and spent real time together. There may be a little chemistry and a little crushing at first sight, but not love.
